Résumé
Au XVIIeme siècle, Squanto, un Indien, est enlevé par des Anglais et se retrouve à Plymouth. Esclave d'un riche commercant, il s'échappe et se cache dans un monastère où il demeure quelques mois et apprend la langue anglaise. Lorsqu'il rentre enfin en Amérique, son peuple est en guerre contre les colons .....
