Résumé
D'après une histoire vraie qui s'est déroulée en avril 1949, en pleine guerre civile chinoise, l'histoire d'une corvette britannique, remontant le fameux fleuve du Yang-Tsé en direction de Shanghaï, prise sous le feu d'une batterie d'artillerie communiste et qui aura bien des difficultés à se libérer de la pression chinois .....
